Am planning to spend a month or so in BA in April. Bringing lap top but not cell as do not anticipate will need it for such a short stay unless good idea to bring and sell. Should I bring transformers with me for use of small appliances ( curling iron, etc.) and computer ? What will I need?

There are two types of 220V to 110V transformers, one for electronics and the other for irons,etc.
Buy them there or here, no problems.Good luck

Check your laptop PSU. It probably says it accepts input voltages between 100-240 in which case it will work in Argentina on its own.
