What are the names & where can I find English language newspaper (literate one) and weekly mag guide to what's happening in BA?

Still looking for a deluxe spa for massage & sauna. Recs are gratefully needed.

thanks much in advance!

I saw at the news stand Time Out Buenos Aires, in English, however I never read it. Buenos Aires Herald is good.

On the other hand, for sauna & massages, try Tamara Di Tella spa, or Hotel Hyatt spa.

The Time Out magazine you can get at most kiosks is pretty decent, but its only updated twice a year, I think.

There is no weekly mag in english that tells whats going on.

You gotta do that online- paper is so last century, ya know.

If you hit some of the stuff listed in the Agenda section of whats up, you will find interesting local music, art, and performance, usually with no tourists present.

and english- thats a bit of a problem- you see, they speak Castellano here.

depends on what you are looking for- there are lots of threads on this site about finding music, or tango, or film, or art.

Besides the two above, I like to hit these sites, for Art and music happenings.

What, in particular, are you interested in?
There are lots of websites for specific interests.

The best spa in BA is hands-down at the Hyatt - I just went for a birthday treat and was really bowled over. It was very discreet, the private treatment rooms are amazing and spacious. The service was second to none (never would've thought you were in Buenos Aires!) and all the staff speak English (apparently). The communal facilities (indoor pool, spa, gym) were also extremely good - completely empty (I went on a week day).

Some kiosks in Recolleta have over priced English magazines (The Economist, etc).
