My observations

1: more expats getting 'normal' argentine jobs
2: many left, the ones that stayed are much more united
3: people that have stayed 2,3 years and have the ability to get a job somewhere else leave
4: people who have stayed 5 plus years are settling in ba and not likely to leave anytime soon

Any more general observations?

Put me down for Numero 3. And I'm the happiest I've ever been, EVER... Argentina wasn't fit for me or I wasn't fit for Argentina.

The expats still down in BA and voluntarily stay down there are troopers! There's just way too much (for me) to put up with and very little return.

Because you need to join BA Expats to know or talk about expats?

Obviously, you don't need to be an expat to do that.

Ironically, I think many expats really do care about what Argentines really think, say, and feel...about us...as well as everything that affects their country.:)

Even if they don't care if we do.;)

The cost of living relative to wages is getting really bad. I'm surprised so many are staying given this.
