Mine would be Mill in Villa Crespo.

Though it's a bit touristy, mine is Bar El Federal in San Telmo. Year after year I go there and it feels like meeting with an old friend.

I enjoy La Poesia, owned by the same people as El Federal.

The waitstaff isn't as nice as in El Federal, and the menu is identical, but upstairs is a safe place to work with a laptop and they have homebrewed beer and some nice fish dishes.

Love this place but a bit pricey and hard to get a seat on the weekend.
Its a great building too.
