For those who think a Schwab card is tops.......

Sounds tempting...could someone try it to see if it's legit?
 
Comparing the two cards......the only reason to have the Schwab card is that someone already has one! Period. Otherwise there is no comparison. Schwab really doesn't want you if you are outside the States. The Schwab application process is MUCH more complicated....to what benefit? And, like Schwab, it is a Visa card, NOT a Mastercard, which can sometimes be an important distinction(buying tickets on some regional airlines)
 
Well, seeing as my Schwab card is not working at any ATM today, it makes me think.
I am going to web chat with Schwab but does anyone have any idea why this could be happening?

Never mind. It was a problem with my individual card.
 
One huge advantage of the Schwab account is it is FDIC insured. So for people that don't want to lose their entire account balance when a startup goes under, then Schwab is probably the first choice.
