The Original version in Spanish was released in the album Las Últimas Composiciones (1966), the last album Violeta Parra published before committing suicide in 1967.

The Violeta Parra Version in her own voice an lyrics is below, a sort of goodbye song, when one reads the story above one realizes what SHE really meant ...!
