Free text messages in BA through computer

There is a cool website where you can send text messages to BA cellphones for free.

at the bottom, make sure you check off the box or you will get advertisement emails from them.

I sent one SMS to myself about 10 minutes ago, and it has still not be delivered.

Did anyone else try to send a SMS to him/herself ?

MMMhhhh, in fact in some cases, the SMS are charged to the RECEIVER !

while very few sources confirm this.

Some operators like mine probably (Claro), do block such SMS and don't accept this charging method.

Can be fun to send SMS to people you don't like though

If you are sending to a Claro number you can do it free from their site:

If you are sending to a Personal number you can also do it for free from their site and if you stay connected to the page you can even receive responses:

Nice! Anyone know if that works (on Personal) with the dreaded pay-as-you-go non-plans ? (ie I'm sure I will get charged for receiving but will I in fact receive it) - does it work from abroad as well ?
