Fresh off the plane

Hi all,

I've just arrived in Buenos Aires today, and am looking forward to spending the next couple of months living here with my husband. We've been living in Santiago for the past 9 months and had to escape (if you've spend any amount of time there, I'm sure you'll understand why!) before we head back to the UK in June.

Nice to virtually meet you - hope to meet some of you IRL while we're here!

Pls can you explain what is wrong with Santiago? A lot of perople say it is great!!

It's not terrible; it's clean and safe, but really rather bland. It's amazing the things that can't get across those mountains - weather, tasty fresh food, slower accents. It's nice to come to a city with a more vibrant feel, for a bit of a change.

I found Santiago rather boring after being in Buenos Aires for a few months, as well.
