Actually, I laughed at the kid's comments a few times. He says Argentina has great Carmenere - guess he did a multi-country tour, and is confused about exactly where he was.

And that comment, "...a 3 dollar Malbec is the equivalent of a 30 dollar Malbec in USA or Canada..." - I'd say his normal quaff is something like Two-buck Chuck.

A 3-dollar Malbec is a 39-peso Malbec. Definitely nothing to write home about.

That same afternoon one of Gastons commrads nailed my wifes 73 year old mother in Corrientes. Got her purse with cell phone and about 500 pesos etc.
