Getting measurements for tux

Hey,

I've got a friend getting married in a couple of months in the US and I need to get fitted for a tux. I went to a menswear store today and asked the guy to measure me and he said "52" and pulled a jacket off of the wall. When I explained further that I needed actual measurements made, he said that isn't done here in Argentina.

Anyone know where/how to go about getting my measurements?

I think your tux to be fixed. Look for a taylor "sastre" for it. I know of a seamstress lady who works great, near Villa Crespo. She used to work for a very well known taylor, but I dont know if she is currently working on tuxs. Let me know if you need her phone number, so I will ask someone I know for it.
