Global Debt Growing Faster Than Population

Kyle Bass did this great video interview and commented that global debt has jumped from 80 trillion dollars to 200 trillion dollars over the last 10 years. This is an equivalent of a 10% growth year over year. In comparison, during the same period, global population grew 1.25% year over year and global GDP grew 3% year over year.

No matter how you look at it, this is BAD. I strongly recommend everyone to watch the interview. Just follow the link bellow.

Well, comparing the total debt to the population growth gives you no indication, why?

1- Inflation Rates apply only to the debt but not to the population
2- Average Income of individuals is increasing (GDP per Capita)

A valid measure is to compare total GDP growth, to total Debt growth, or GDP per capita growth compared to Debt per Capita growth...
