Anyone know of a good currently converter? I´m not as interested in cost of living, more so what an Argentine salary would be equivalent to in the states.

Sorry, I don´t think I explained myself well enough. I´m looking for a Salary Converter not a currency converter. If I earn, for example, $6k pesos per month, what would be the dollar value be IN the united states? Not taking into account too much the cost of living.

And wow, how awful has my english writing gotten... It´s laughable that people in my office actually ask me questions about english!!

I guess I don't understand? Wouldn't you just divide the number by the exchange rate. ie ARS6000 ~ USD1450 / month

Or do you want to know what you would make in the USA if you make $6k pesos here?

Exactly. What would be the idea. There are websites to compare within the US, meaning NY versus Chicago. I want to compare BA to Boston as I´m being headhunted by a client of mine and want to see if it´s worth it and how much more they need to pay me.

I think it would be easier to search by position, rather than an abstract salary equivalence.

Comparisons of PPP from one country/town are very unreliable, depending on people reporting prices helter-skelter.

The best you can get is probably from the CIA factbook https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2004rank.html
you'll then have to compare Boston to US average (easy) and then guesstimate from e.g. the information of rank order in http://en.mercopress.com/2011/08/17...bogota-most-expensive-cities-in-south-america
