I just wanted to pass along a recommendation for the olive oils and customer service at Mondoliva, an online shop for olive oils and deli products. Alfredo is an absolute gem with a great story of how he got into the business.

When one of the items I selected online wasn´t available, he recommended I try a different option and then even waived the delivery fee.

The website is www.mondoliva.com

Good link.
I love olive oil but here it's difficult to find good ones.
There are a few shops in Paris that only sell olive oils (and they have maybe like 100/150 to choose from).
In south of France, near Nice on the riviera, every year you can buy for a limited time the first "pressing" (I don't know how to name it) of the olives : it's a liquid through which you can't see (there even are some people eating it on bread, with nothing else).

As far as now, the best olive oil I found was in the Feria de Mataderos where I was able to buy too some kind of "salami Armenio" that I found nowhere else.

If anyone has a tip to find thick/tasty olive oil, I'd be interested !
