Does anyone have any info/tips for attending the races on May 1?

Can you purchase tickets to the salons in advance? Is it worth it to show up before 13:00? Is dress like Kentucky Derby or more casual (I know the answer is probably more casual since it is Argentina but if anyone can give examples, etc. that would be great!)?

There is always a dress code for the Salon Turf Argentine. On May 1, doubt you could get into any salon, the blue bloods and wannabes have booked the event five years in advance. Just go and mingle with low life's like me.
