Has anyone taken their cat to the UK?

Just wondering if anyone could offer any advice about bringing a cat back to the UK. I've been looking into getting the travel certifications for my cats (against rabies, etc) for a while now but will be beginning the process this month. It's all a bit daunting so any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated. I'm very anxious to avoid placing them in quarantine so want to do everything as by the book as possible. Has anyone successfully brought their cats from Arg to the UK?

seems like if you get all the paperwork there might not be any need to put your cat into quarantine.

I've also been wondering about this, I have 2 cats and would love to hear from anyone who has experience with this. I've tried searching online but haven't been able to find a lot of information- I have no idea what the cost would be, some people have told me it's based on per kilo and others have said it's more like a human air fare! Any insight would be much appreciated!
