Hiking in Northern Patagonia

I was in the south in Jan and Feb of this year for some hiking around Bariloche and San Martin/Junin del los Andes as well as El Bolson. Here are some trip reports I wrote on another forum along with some pics of the areas we visited. Enjoy!

By the way, the Aconcagua is entirely in Argentina and not shared with Chile, as you stated in one of the reports. No idea why, because the limit between the countries is supposed to be a line going through the highest peaks of the Andes.
 
Interesting reports. Just a heads up, in your last report, one of your photos of Bosque Tallado is mislabeled. The one your called a Gaucho is actually an angel. From behind you will see a single wing. The famous Gaucho carving from the forest is much smaller and very detailed.

I believe you. It's just that I climbed it with a Chilean and he insisted that it was half in Chile. I guess after a while it just stuck in my head. :p
