A friend just forwarded me a post that was published on BA newcomers.
I know there's quite a few animal lovers on this forum so I thought I'd take the liberty and re-post here:
Recently a lady died and her granddaughter turned her two cats, one male and one female both beautiful black and white, into a vet shop here in Belgrano where they have spent the last few weeks in a cage. The cats were both healthy and around 3 years old. When I first saw them, the female just sat and stared at the wall- she was already giving up. The male cat tried desparately to get anyones love and attention.
Now the female has become so depressed she stopped eating and is in their intensive care unit, - she probably wont make it. I am hoping someone can give the other cat a good home. He lost his owner, his house and now most likely, his friend.
He is very sweet and very lonely - please, please, please if someone can give him a home or even a foster home and get him out of the cage!
