And we don't use cabalgata when talking about riding horses - we use montar or saltar (if you're jumping) - at least in the world of horses I live in here and I ride and breed horses. Hence my question again. I've not seen cabalgata used except in conjunction with an exhibit or parade of horses.
If you're looking for a place just to ride a criollo for fun, I might recommend you head to the Circulo Criollo El Rodeo (Paso del Rey, near Moreno). Lots of people there with criollos on the weekend and they could probably point you in the right direction.
