I will be traveling inside Argentina and looking at hotel bookings to pay in pesos ( not foreign credit card).

Found that rates are cheaper with socios?!

Anyone knows the significance of "Socios"

Is it "those with DNI" or those with medical insurance?

I'd guess it's a discount for members of the ACA (the argentine automobile club).

Yes, it is for members only ( they are the equivalent to AAA )
