If you're looking for a place near Buenos Aires to get away from the city heat with a good swimming pool and gorgeous home and garden to relax in, I can recommend a spacious private resort home in Beccar.
Although I'm not involved in the business, I'm posting this notice for people who might be interested in visiting. The house is about 40 minutes by train from Retiro, or an hour by Uber for 15,000 pesos or so.
It's an elegant, spacious art-filled antique villa-style home with a very beautiful, deep and big pool and huge garden - perfect for lazing around, reading, suntanning etc. There's a full kitchen to cook in, as well as lots of good restaurants nearby, and all sorts of easy excursions to Tigre and San Isidro. The very upscale residential area is safe and pleasant for walking. The rooms are beautiful and prices much cheaper than hotels with similar pools and gardens.
