I just want to express my profound apologies to Argentina, Spain and all the interested parties who will be hurt by this disturbing turn of events. The nationalization of YPF is actually my fault. Yes, mine. You see, I returned from work to find my 10-month old golden retriever on the telephone with the president. I didn't get all of the conversation, only something about "screw the Spanish and oh, yeah send a few (imported) milkbones my way, will ya?". She's obviously too young to understand the ramifications of her actions. Darn it, I wish I hadn't taught her to use my cell but you know, retrievers...heck, it seems like yesterday she was only pissing on the floor. Sorry. And let's all hope she doesn't get the nuclear codes.
