We're having one flown in with a friend next week if all goes well (along with the new MBP). I sold the old iPad in MercadoLibre a few weeks ago... just in time for the upgrade.

I was waiting for the 2 with the FaceTime. Was going to bring it from Belgium but a lot cheaper in the US so will probably get it there.

Just to be sure : the 3G is not locked right? it does not have to be jailbroken or whatever??

Correct. iPads are factory unlocked for 3G data, so you can use with any GSM carrier as long as you can get a micro-SIM or know how to cut a standard one. You only need to jailbreak if you want to install apps not approved by the Apple App store.
