I was considering a road trip to Bariloche area in the summer, but i'm hearing a lot of noise coming from there due to protests coming from some natives groups that are turning pretty violent
Anyone from that area or close by has any first hand information?

These guys are in the woods taking over land and messing with traffic on the highways. I think you'll be alright.

If you're a farmer you should be worried, a tourist? Not a chance; the provincial and federal governments don't let anyone touch the golden (greenback?) goose.
