Man i woke up running for the hair-shop, at 9am i was standing there and everything seem like on a Sunday!!! Its the day of the Argentinean FLAG!!

It is a national holiday, everything works as on Sundays. It is not the National Flag Day, but they day of the first sworn of flag's first sworn or sth like that, basically a bs K holiday to keep people of checking the new bills and price increases of everything.

It's the 200th Anniversary of the First Raising of the National Flag. There will be a rally at 7pm in Rosario - CFK is making an appearance

Argentina sure has a lot of holidays! I bet 90% of Argentines couldn't tell you what holiday it is... they just know it's a holiday.

Actually, this seems to be an "exception," at least according to Wikipedia. Looks like today is the 2nd anniversary of the 200th anniversary of the flag's creation

Heaps of holidays! This year there is about double the amount as Australia. But then again, I also only get 2 weeks annual leave here (half the amount) so I guess it all evens out...
