You know the song...Jane Birkin and Serg Gainsbourg...lots of heavy breathing and innuendo.
I still can't believe that the BBC banned this record. How times have changed!
We listen to Blue FM 100.7 and Petinato and I have to smirk when they play the uncut versions of James Blunt's 'You're beautiful' ( she could see that I was f***ing high) and the Beautiful South one 'Dont marry him f**ck me' etc etc
Now those would not be palyed on the BBC, although Terry Wogan did once by accident, so they say.

Hello Marc,
I remember trying to include the track "Je t'aime... moi non plus" by Serge Gainsbourg & Jane Birkin in a compliation called "Sexy Music" some years ago, and got a rejection from him, since he didn't want anything to do with sexually related music. Odd.
You can see the album cover at http://www.myspace.com/specialprojectsbrokers (there is a slide show there)
Among those who said yes:
Donna Summer - Love to love you, baby
Joe Cocker - You are so beautiful
The Bee Gees - How deep is your love
Peter Frampton - Baby, I love your way
Quincy Jones - Body heat
and many others, good album..
Cheers
Ernie
