Job offer:Channel Account Manager – Research In Motion (RIM)/ BlackBerry

Location:Argentina and Mexico City


The successful candidate will be a member of a dynamic global sales team responsible for selling BlackBerry products through large general merchandise, electronics and telecom specialty retailers.


Responsibilities include channel development, building and executing channel strategy and marketing programs designed to grow BlackBerry market share and subscriber base. Previous experience in partner and channel development is critical to success.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will also include:
• Build relationships with general merchandise, electronics and telecom specialty retailers
• Gain credibility with these partners driving incremental BlackBerry sales through an in-depth understanding of the financial and operations imperatives of the partner
• Use these relationships to measurably increase sell through of Blackberry products through these partners
• Work with RIM marketing to deliver and execute on all RIM marketing programs targeted to the retail channels
• Minimum 5 years experience managing retail accounts
• Business/Marketing degree or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in market and partner planning
• Proven track record in the tactical execution of sales programs
• Channel sales experience
• Effective presentation and relationship skills
