I am going to post this on the classifieds, but I wanted to post here just in case anyone had any ideas, as we are looking for a very specific profile of person:
Production Coordinator for TV/Film Production Company
We are looking for a new production coordinator for San Telmo Productions, http://www.santelmoproductions.com one of Argentina´s fastest growing TV/Film/Advert production companies. Our main focus is providing production services to clients from the USA/Canada/UK/Europe/Australia who film in Argentina and Chile.
This position is ideal for a person who wants to immerse themselves in the film industry.
Job responsibilities:
Communicating with clients via email and phone.
Preparing budgets using excel software
Preparing budget presentations using word and pdf
Coordinating with various members of San Telmo and clients making sure that all information is understood and received
Ensuring that clients have a great experience
Assisting the executive producer with research, requesting quotes from suppliers, keeping track of invoices
Greeting clients upon arrival.
Some on-set work (buying supplies, assisting)
Please note that this is not a secretarial position (we have a secretary)
Requirements:
Native English speaker (or you have lived for many years in an English speaking country, speak fluently and understand the culture).
Can operate microsoft excel (we can instruct how to put together the budgets, but basic knowledge is necessary).
Comfortable speaking over the phone, writing emails in English.
Good at following instructions and communicating.
Intermediate or higher Spanish speaking
Experience in film or TV production is a plus, but not required.
