I've recently come to BA to stay for a year but am having trouble finding a job.

I've been using craiglist but haven't had much luck with it. Are there any other sites out there with jobs, or anywhere offline where they're advertised?

I'm looking for anything really- teaching English, proofing work, or something in the tourism industry. I'm getting kinda desperate, so any leads would be great!

- www.clarin.com (main newspaper) look for the link to "empleos".
- www.lanacion.com.ar (look for the link to "empleos"

- www.couchsurfing.org. It is an NGO whose main purpose is related to traveling and hosting however, once you became a member, you can join the group Buenos Aires and the sub-group for jobs (it has a long name that includes the word jobs)

- Try buying Buenos Aires Herald on Sundays. Then look for the adds section.

You didnt ask, but I think you might inform in your cover letter about your visa situation. Also, FYI, the resumes, called CV (curriculum vitae), have a different format here. For instance, the prospect employer here expects you to add a picture of you, your DNI ( Documento Nacional de Identidad) if you have it, and your marital status. All of this is seen as discriminatory in many other countries.

Are you bilingual? If you speak, read and write Spanish and English, please PM me your resume.
