  1. Require the conversion of all foreign currency and precious metals at the port of entry.
  2. Any foreign currency found by customs is forfeited.
  3. Currency sniffing dogs at all border crossings
  4. All financial transactions must be done using moneda nacional. Violations will result in forfeit of property and currency, e.g. apartment
  5. Currency transfers must be done at the official rate, e.g. Xoom
  6. AFIP will go to random blocks, seal them off and go door to door with currency sniffing dogs. All foreign currency, gold, silver and diamonds found will be forfeited.
  7. Digital Currency sites will be internet blocked
  8. Any security (stock, bonds, etc.) bought in Argentina must be sold in Argentina in the national currency.
  9. Any person found in the possession of foreign currency will have that currency seized and if a non-citizen deported.
  10. All electronics must be itemized at the port of entry and be in one's possession upon exit.

Dr. Leslie's 1 step plan to end the Dollar Blue: 1) End currency exchange restrictions.
Presumably, currency exchange restrictions wouldn't be here if they didn't serve the public good.

Nothing new. All this was tried (in toto or partially) in the old Soviet Union, Mao´s China, Cuba and North Korea. Look what happened to them.

Yes but you can say that about Socialism in general, but I imagine you would want to abolish that too.

make official currency USD.

This brings up something I have never understood: legally, logistically, etc., how and why does one country use another country's currency (e.g., Ecuador using USD as official currency) ? What is in it for the country that exports its currency to the other country? In the case of the U.S., does it bear the full cost of minting, supplying and continually replenishing this money? Is there a per dollar charge to the other country? Does this kind of arrangement imply some kind of political alliance other than merely a symbiotic relationship or pragmatic arrangement?
