What's the situation with pensions for permanent residents? Do we have the same rights as Argentine nationals as far as receiving a pension? I started out contributing to the state system, then a private plan (once the private option was established) and now back to the state system. I've contributed both as an employee and independently through the Monotributo system. Will I ever receive a pension? If so, do I have to have thirty years in the system to get anything? And if that is the case, what can be done if you fall short of the 30 years?

If anyone has some facts, as opposed to opinions, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.
