June 2026 Entry to Argentina Notes - Digital Nomad Visa

I tried to contact an agente via their bot and whatsapp all of friday but it just kept saying no one available.

Yesterday (aka Friday the 10th of July) was a "bridge holiday." Hopefully, you'll get a response on Monday.

So just to give a log of what's going on here now.

I spoke to 1 person via chat on whatsapp. They said to email:

I did that with screenshots and everything but they got back to me within 15 mins saying this is not the right emailfor this and just closed out the ticket.

Went on the chat again and was told DN visa:

''Enviaste la solicitud a este mail. Si esta dentro de ARG y queres solicitar nomada digital es por mail''
[email protected]

I sent them an email now and waiting for what they say.

Still at this situation:

Ohh, sorry for not thinking of that sooner. Yea the processes I've documented are for out of country only. I believe there is a different process for in country but I wouldn't be familiar.

No no you are good. I am of the understanding you can only apply with this outside of the country!

But surely I can apply for it all inside, just pretend I am in uruguay or back home...of course I guess I need to exit the country and reenter on this visa. Either way it shouldn't matter. I just tried with a vpn but seems like the page won't load and they block that also, surprising.

I got a reponse from the 2nd email above, not useful:

All the appointment for in person are like 1 month so too late.

In the time being trying to find a friend I can remote on their PC.

I keep going on the chat to try and find someone useless but the answers they give me are just useless.

Well I just used my Mastercard debit card from Santander UK and it worked!! There seems to be a lot of sites and organisation not taking kindly to WISE now...I paid 120 euros, I only noticed now if I changed my location to USA it would have been 120 USD..

Ok making progress. I realised it's like a self signed declaration letter.

The final step is something about contacting a consulate? That I didn't understand what I need to do. Seems to be a 2nd part.

I have been trying to get the DN visa but the last 1 month I am not getting the email which is meant to give me a link to pay for the visa so I can continue to put the code from the voucher on my tranmite...Any ideas??

For what it’s worth, I applied for this visa twice - once from outside the country in 2022 and once from inside the country in 2026. The first time they lost my application for two months. The second time they also lost my application and spelled my email wrong. I got caught in a loop of people who kept sending me to someone else without an answer.

I gave up. I’m moving back to the states. It stopped being worth it to try to become regular status.
