Kid-Friendly Jazz Places??

Hey, hey!
My 12-year-old son is into jazz at the moment and really wants to go out and hear some. ANY idea on where I could take him? The only places I have heard about are bars or clubs for adults.

I have gone in previous years, and there are concerts all over- free concerts outdoors, along with lots of very reasonably priced ones in halls all over.

Notorious often has jazz, and they are in the back of the record store, not a bar-
