What about laundry mats where I can do my own laundry? I vaguely recall seeing one… but that was a long time ago and I don't remember where that was.

Ayacucho between Sta. Fe and Macelo T. de Alvear. They are both laundry and dry cleaners. It's next to a Chinese supermarket (because there are two on that block).

if you look around, you see 4 laundry stores in each corner
