I saw this on the BBC news a few nights ago. I was kinda shocked that each couple paid $50.000 U$D for the birth of their child.
Somebody is making a lot of $$$ on the misfortunes of others. The babies were kept in a hotel because Ukraine had closed its borders to foreigners do to the CV19 crisis.
I was thinking couldn't they get somebody closer to home to have this done?…and probably for a fraction of the cost. Did the newborns get Ukrainian citizenship ???
