Looking for a free AudioBook website

Even if you aren't from Chicago (or the US) you may be able to get a digital library card for audiobooks. Enter any Chicago address, its very ulikely they'll bother verifying it.

There's a wealth of audio-only material on YouTube and I get a lot of my audio books, radio drama etc from there. Use search terms like audio book, <genre>,<title>,<writer> etc. Listen direct from the site or use a downloading tool. My most recent example is The Martin Beck Killings. I have just finished listening to the ten BBC radio plays and I know the ten, complete novels, translated into English and other languages are there too.

I use my US library. My library card still works after three years here. Audio books, magazines, regular books and movies all free. I do have a VPN. I don't know if that makes a difference.
