Looking for a good cosmetic surgeon

Don't laugh. I'm coming to BsAs for a face lift. Can someone recommend a good cosmetic surgeon? Has anyone used Dr Williams Bukret www.drbukret.com What is a typical cost for a full face lift in BsAs. I would greatly appreciate learning about anyone's experience? Thanks!

I only had my lower eyelids done. I did a lot of research and actually went for consultations at several clinics.

Hi I know Dr. Bukret when I was working in Medical Tourism area. He is nice, his work was not bad, not great either, however pay attention, he use very light pain killers, but very light. I know about BAS as well, but experiences iwth that clinic are very diferent, sometimes they do a very good job and osme others they literally screwd up, they are cheap and even has a spot in Alto Palermo Shopping Mall.
They are plenty of surgeons, but in Buenos Aires, pay attention to not just doctors, but clinics and of course choose a diferent specialist in reference to the surgery that you would like to perform. BTW I am Florida now in a business trip, so maybe if you want more info let me know, I think that I knwo more about the needs and expectations form american people.

Christopher runs a referral service, very good. Let him do the work for you. He knows the doctors, the system and doesn't charge the patient any special fees. Mostly high end clients coming from the states but check him out

Without wanting to be facetious I would come down here and spend a day walking around Recoleta. The sheer quantity of poorly done cosmetic work you see will be a frightener but may push you to ask more questions about who really is skilled enough to give you a natural face lift (think Sharon Stone) as opposed to a mask (think Farah Fawcett). There is no shortage of qualified surgeons but that isnt the same thing as having the skill to give you what you want - even one of the most famous Portenos here with money to burn (Susanna Gimenez) ended up suing one of her plastic surgeons due to irregular practices and bad results. Much like Prescilla Presley.

I must admit I have had my nose opperated on in Bsas and am delighted with the results and used Botox regularly but every time Im tempted to get my jowls treated wiith a "lifting" I look at the sad monsters of Recoleta and realise they can never look normal again and will frighten small children and adults alike for the rest of their lives.
Sorry to sound so down on what is no doubt an important choice for yhou - I think the posts suggesting the referral guy are a great idea..but the walk in Recoleta is a no brainer for me too!

Dear All
Please do yourself a favor and avoid Dr Bukret. He is a dishonest surgeon.
He claimed to of completed a neck lift (lie). He also said he completed a brow lift then retracted his statement via email.
He has a string of really unhappy patients.
Dont let the positive feedback fool you. He pays for it.
Wont turn over medical records. What kind of dr does that?
Use Dr Guerrissi. He is honest and can do what he says he can.

how much it involved, I am thinking about the same thing, not sure how
