Looking for everything near Belgrano :)

Hi all,

Not really looking for ''everything'' - but to start somewhere I can buy a good small computer desk and chair and other household stuff like that would be good...

Hoping to get out shopping shortly and find a few bits and pieces I can bring back by taxi if possible (i.e. do it yourself/assemble/ikea type of stuff would be idea).

I'm on Av. Cabildo so somewhere close to here would be ideal

There are numerous furniture stores on Cabildo in the blocks beyond Congreso (actually into Nunez). Most are closed on Sunday. Today you could take linea D of the subte to the Palermo station and walk a very long block (on Bullrich) to EASY. They probably have what you're looking for (assembly possibly required for the computer desk). Jumbo is there, too and they have all the household goods you might be looking for. It's easy to get a taxi home from there. The taxis line up outside the store, especially on the weekends.
