Hi,

My name's Andre and I'm looking for a store that stocks a lot of Italian food products. For example polentas, italian olive oils, pastas, etc. I'm from NY and I am used to cooking with a lot of Italian or US brands. When I try to cook with Argentine brands the experience is rather flaccid. Garlic, for example, is often way too old and dried out and a lot of the spices seem to have zero potency.

Anyway, in a country with this many Italian immigrants/progeny there must be a decent Italian imports store somewhere in BA.

Also Queso Rallado can bite me, where is the REAL italian cheese? No grated wax please.

Hello

In Disco supermarket is possible to find italian spaghetti, oil and don`t know about spices but I would go and have a look because they are one of the few supermarkets that have imported food, Iam fond of swiss chocolate and I can find it there.
good luck

Yup, you can also try to find A Jumbo or a Walmart Near you, you'll sure find something over there.
If you find an interesting store, let us know! I would like to get peperoni!!
Cheers,
Kat
