Looking For Mixedmartialarts Gym

I've seen a few similar threads but they are either old or specifically about crosstraining or boxing.

I'm looking for MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) gyms for my husband. Does anyone know of any? We are mostly thinking about the palermo-belgrano area when we move to BsAs, but would like to know about all and any MMA-gyms out there.

I did a quick search on google in spanish to see what I could find, these guys seem like they could be what you're looking for. The promotional video says they train in muay thai, jiu juitsu, judo, lucha and boxing. The locations of their dojos may not be any good for your requirements though.

PS: No idea if they are actually any good or not as I have no personal experience with them.

There's a gym that I walk by all the time on Dorrego, maybe 2 blocks north of Corrientes. I'll double check tonight on my way to work & see if I can get more specific information about what they actually do there / prices / etc.

I am a MMA fan and have seen a few places in Palermo that might work for your husband. I can not speak of the quality of the places but most of these places will give new comers a free trial session,

There is another place on Bulnes near the corner of Bulnes and Cordoba near the bus stop for 128. The have MMA merchandise and classes when I stopped by last year.

They also have semi professional matches in the city where your husband could get more info on the MMA scene in Capital Federal.

Does your husband know that there is someone from Argentina in the Jackson MMA camp? SANTIAGO PONZINIBBIO.

I will ask my co-worker what associations are still conducting fights in the city but your husband will quickly know more than I do once he starts taking classes.

Argentina has some of the top boxers in the world. If he's interested in fighting and self defense, I would look into that sport.
