JOB DESCRIPTION: Junior Travel Expert - As part of the Sales Team, this position provides personalized travel assistance to very discerning international clients. JOB DUTIES:
- Answering initial phone calls and emails from potential clients or travel agents
- Undergoing an intensive 3-month training program about all our destinations with the end goal of being able to sell trips to Latin America and the Mediterranean over the phone
- Assisting senior travel experts with putting together itinerary proposals and other travel documentation
- Team working with Operations on building itineraries
- Assisting with miscellaneous sales and administrative tasks
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- College undergraduate degree
- Native English speaker
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience (preferably in sales)
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Highly organized, dynamic, team-player with the ability to multi-task and learn fast
- Currently living in Buenos Aires with plans to stay long term
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Travel experience in Latin America and the Mediterranean
- Intermediate level of Spanish and/or other languages such Portuguese or French
- Professional phone call experience
