I shop every Wednesday at Que Comes Cuando Comes at Pichincha 647 for organic and ecological produce. I bought a bag of cherry tomatoes, but I didn't notice the bag that Mariano put them in until I was home. The bag is labeled -- mamaland biodegradable & compostable. This is the first time I've seen these bags. I wanted to share their links. Their bags decompose in a very short time compared with plastic that takes centuries, if ever. (All the plastic made still exists on earth.) The company has been in business a few years. They should be supported.
We are a young company created with the aim of generating a cultural change regarding the consumption and destination of products for daily use whose origin is non-renewable. Our proposal has the initial goal of reducing the negative environmental impact through the use of biodegradable and compostable products.
The site lists a health food store at Suipacha 240 (one block from Confiteria Ideal) that sells their bags, also a shop in Recoleta, the only two locations in the city.
