I may be wrong on all of this but.....

Pot is legal in Uruguay. It is legal to possess a small amount of pot for personal use in Argentina. Therefore, is it legal to bring in a small amount of pot from Uruguay to Argentina.

Or wishful thinking. Tom

The Marijuana must be good indeed if you type Marijuna.... jaja

Wishful thinking to me.

Reasons:
- On the Legislative field, it's technically forbidden to have Ganja
- On the Judiciary field, it's OK to grow a plant in your home for your personal use (Corte Suprema/Zaffaroni)
- Here, you would misregard Customs regulations (Administrative field) and would get into problems I guess. (if you "import" from Uruguay).

It is not legal to posses a small amount of pot in Arg, it is just not illegal, but if cops want to give you a hard time, they sure can. I think if anybody came into Arg bringing pot from Uru, he is going to be able to visit some non touristy places in the country, such as Sierra Chica, etc.

4 years and 10 months up to 10 years of jail at a Federal facility. Chaco and Rawson are the most populars. The good news is that you can apply for deportation at the half of the time in jail and if approved, you go home 5 years earlier.

Dude why would you even think about bringing it back from Uruguay when this place is flooded with weed...

I've never seen so many people smoking that stuff in public without being at all worried about getting "caught".

There are things that are LEGAL, like owning and operating a candy store, where they cops can give you an exceptionally hard time even though THEY are the ones breaking the law.

Re: Weed

I smelled about 5 times as much weed as I did cigarette smoke earlier this evening at Creamfields. And I wasn't even there that long.

PS- If you ever go to that even, make sure not to how your water away from your body when walking anywhere near sweaty musclebound shirtless guys pumping their arms like animated figures. Even the best motochorros would have admired how this one semi-insane guy ripped a cold bottle of water from one girls hand and near tore off the top before proceeding to guzzle the stuff like a dying vampire would a pint of blood. It was AMAZING! And scary as sh*t. I quickly moved on to watch other people completely out of their minds, but in a less violent manner.

Yes, it does seem to be all over the place.
At a certain train station near me, early in the evening, they smoke it quite openly sharing the spliff with each other.
Bearing in mind that the area is heavily patrolled by police and gendarmeria.
