Both the Metropolitan Opera and the National Theater are broadcast live here. The Met Opera to El Nacional on Corrientes on Sat afternoons and the National Theater to the Fundación Beethoven on Sante Fe.
The National Theater is in English with Spanish subtitles. The commentary before the opera and during intermissions is also in English.
You buy tickets in advance for the Opera at the Fundación Beethoven and at the door for the National Theater.
