Canceled June meetings at G7 forum and another with President Macron in France. Or not cancelled anymore… or….
Still going to accept awards, first in a Madrid casino, and then another in Hamburg, both for being a great libertarian

I get the feeling he may have been disinvited.

I saw on TV last night that he would attend the G7, having reconsidered after cancelling all actual official meetings, since it had become apparent that this would be another private journey at the cost of the taxpayers, with sister / tarot reader / partner Karina, among other compinches and hangers-on, in tow, and he needed a fig-leaf to deflect the criticism. I've seen him described as Javier "una vuelta mas" Milei in the media, which seems completely appropriate.

Now, I see it's been confirmed he won't participate in the G7 meeting:

Or, as @carride suggests, who knows? Or maybe, as the one who's cosplaying a president at the moment says, if you come from an apocalyptic future, you can remake reality as you please?

He's an inspiration to all with mental illness and/or addiction issues, in a similar way Biden is to seniors with dementia: don't let reality and the wellbeing of your country get in the way of seizing the heights of power.

I used to think mad kings were a euphemism, or scribes lashing out at bosses they hated. Not anymore, look at the people we let wield power in the 21st century.

Now we just need our John Connor

I don't think even John Connor could deal with this.

So maybe he is going to the G7? He needs the figleaf? https://buenosairesherald.com/world...ntinas-milei-to-travel-to-italy-for-g7-summit or maybe the Herald has been swamped by events.

They do say that if he goes, he might cross paths with his ideological nemesis, the Brazilian president Lula, who has, of course, out of simple decency, come to the aid of Argentina amid the government-provoked gas crisis. Brazil seems to be doing quite well under its socialist president for now. It's a pity the G7 didn't invite Mexico's president-elect, who would be Milei's real nemesis (and he knows it, there's a reason he didn't send official congratulations on her election). Just think, she's:
  1. A woman. OMG.
  2. A socialist (OMG x 2)
  3. An actual Jewish person, not just cosplaying one.
  4. A future president, not just cosplaying one.
  5. An actual doctor of engineering and a respected scientist who had no need to fake her degrees or plagiarize her texts.
  6. A Nobel prize winner, I expect that intellectually, she could put Javier "una vuelta mas" Milei in her jacket pocket.
  7. Governor of a city bigger than many countries (I will admit I was hugely disappointed by AMLO in this regard, he should have done better).

I never thought about how Milei's philosemitism probably drives him up the wall on this, plus she also is popular, i.e. it wasn't a lesser of two evils, people actually like her
