I've read every thread about sending packages from abroad, and still have a very mixed idea as to which service to use. Many have said only to use private mail services, others have had bad experiences with FedEx and good ones with USPS Express mail. Others have complained about having to claim packages in Retiro...
I need to receive a very important but non-dutiable document, within the next 10 days or so, from the US. I'm happy to pay up to US$30 or so. I don't mind spending a day at Retiro. I just want to have the document safely in hand within a reliable time frame; i.e. I want as little risk as possible that it will get lost.
Has anyone ever had a document send by REGISTERED US Priority International Mail lost or severely delayed? What about DHL?
