Greeting everyone! I am moving to BA in July along with my boyfriend. We are looking for opportunities to work as soon as we arrive. We are both mid-career professionals, I have a MA in Public Administration and a large amount of experience in Politics. Neil is a teacher and enjoys working with youth. We are both very community oriented and are excited for this new adventure. Any tips? Ideas? We are very open and are looking for an interesting opportunity. Please feel free to email or respond to this thread. [email protected]

Here are a couple of links which may be of help. If you plan on working here, hope you're both fully bilingual or close to it.
Local Craigslist always has a jobs section. You might want to check that out.
Native English speakers (i.e. English spoken without an accent.) are always wanted.

As far as working in Politics,.. As they say in Brooklyn ,... foogheabauit !!!
The current political scene is totally corrupt. Not only the President but the VP & the Minister of public works
are currently being investigated on a Billion dollar money laundering kickback scandal.
The President herself refuses to hold a press conference. There hasn't been one in years.
Most people are pretty fed up with it.
Mucha Suerte ! :)

PS. Keep in mind that July is the middle of winter. It does get cold here.
Many of the old homes & apt. have built in fire places.
They're there for a reason.
