I just graduated college and will be moving to BA at the end of Jan. for a good period of time, and am looking to live in Palermo. I have heard that it is not wise to do renting over the internet, because the prices are inflated, and it is better to wait until I am down there. I have a few questions that hopefully some of you can answer.
1. What is the gym situation like? Would it be hard to find an apartment that is close to a good gym?
2. I have heard Palermo is the nicest area but is it the best place for a person of my age (23) to live? I will be arriving knowing only one person but hope to make a lot of friends my own age.
3. My rent budget would probably be around $500-800 US. How much should I be expecting to get with that in terms of niceness? I just really don't want to get ripped off.
Would be great to hear some insight and if any of you can point me towards a reliable person to contact, that would be great as well.
