Hi everyone! I am new to this forum and find the recent dollar situation here interesting as I have spent significant time in Venezuela and there is a thriving black market there despite the fact that it is now against the law to even mention the dollar (lechuga ahora). The controls here aren't as strict as in Venezuela, but it appears to be heading that way.
I've learned about xoom.com here and am trying to figure out how More Transfers works because I would like to be able to receive dollars here. I'm getting reamed with my bank right now. Thanks for any help and feel free to message me.

Geez thats rough, I actually wasnt aware of that Venezuelan ley and neither had my Venezuelan colleague mentioned it!!
