Her explosive rhetoric does not prevent her from maintaining good relations with lawmakers across parties. Even Milei, who sat next to her when both were deputies, once said before taking office that he found her “likeable” and “coherent.”

Clutch those pearls.
She is clearly Not a “trotskyist”, as she has not advocated permanent revolution, or exporting revolution globally, two of the cornerstones of trotsky.
She does seem to agree with Trotsky’s belief in direct democracy and opposition to totalitarianism and a administrative beuacratic regime.
I have always liked her, myself.

The words in the article say that is not likely.

Bregman, may run for President representing a Center left Coalition. A major Peronista leader Miguel Ángel Pichetto told her, if you tone down the Trotskyism and move toward social democracy, the Casa Rosada would be within reach.

She may as well make it to the Ballotage. Milei first and Bregman Second...? then....!

I thought I read somewhere that although she had the highest image, polling only had 4% of the vote.
I also think that there is major generational divide when it comes to voting and path for the country.
I also think that as much as some people want to verbalize there has been no changes, etc over the last 2.5 years, they know there has been, especially after a small discussion.

Because of this, I think that is why LLA won more of the vote than what was projected in October. Same as Trump in 2016, people may not say it out loud or report in polls, but they are voting for him.

When I talk with some Argentinians I hear things like, Mercado Libre pays no taxes, under RIGI the companies pay no taxes, etc. And then it take 10 seconds to google to show the numbers that in 2024, Mercado Libre paid $1.128B in Direct Taxes and acted as a agent for another $2.08B for the sellers on the platform, and got a $33M exemption/subsidy, or that under RIGI the incomes taxes are lowered from 35% to 25% with some other benefits, hence the reason there is a Super RIGI for a further 10% reduction to 15% and some other benefits. If companies paid no tax then RIGI wouldn't offer them much benefits.

For the left to win, they need a real plan. Relying on lies I don't think will help them.
