I attended the February 22 performance of Noche de Carnaval at Teatro Cervantes (Libertad y Cordoba). There are two more performances on Feb 29 and Mar 7 at 9:00pm (2 hours). Tickets are FREE and can be obtained at the box office the day of the performance from 10:00am until curtain.
I've seen the company perform before at the national music center in San Telmo where most of the program was folklore with a bit of tango. Noche de Carnaval is mostly tango with a bit of folklore. Spectacular is all I need to say about this show.
We had third balcony seats when we arrived an hour before the performance for tickets. The theater seats 900, and you can get a ticket at the last minute.
If you've never seen tango on stage, this is a great opportunity to see the national company.
